Have had the chair for less than a week now and so far so good. Bought it for its adjustable arm rests and lumbar support. Also because the seat was deep enough for an ergonomic fit. The thing that I’m surprisingly not liking as much (or not used to yet) is the seat’s mesh fabric. It seems to stretch and isn’t as firm as it should be in places while in other places it’s too firm. But my back and shoulder aches seem to have improved while using.
Dexley #1 lasted almost 2 years for my work from home office. What everyone else wrote is true - the armrest top started cracking (I have them taped) the vertical post broke through and now scrapes the floor (fortunately I have a floor pad) and the seat bottom is loose and rocks back and forth. So why did I buy Dexley #2? My company ergonomist recommended it and when the chair was new it was acceptable. It is also way cheaper than my office Aeron chain. So you get what you pay for and just know that it has a limited life before it starts falling apart.
Its a decent chair for the price. Missing a few features but not enough to make uncomfortable. The head rest is a good feature! Only wish the lumbar was more adjustable and wish you could adjust the backrest more. Other than that Id say its a good chair
I've bought many chairs and always like them for a few weeks because they're new well this one I have had longer than a few weeks and it better than any I've bought before. I will not need another chair for a long while. This chair can move in every direction and could fit any body size. Very well made. In fact I plan on buying a few more for our staff.
