For our home office we went from a cushioned chair which we belied was THE best comfort ever to this mesh chair. What a pleasant surprise. This chair is even better. It hits all the right spots for pure comfort. The mesh breaths so no hot seat. And the wheels glide perfectly. We went to the store to try out all the seat options. After a two hour test if about 15 chairs this one won hands down. Our biggest concern was changing the in-home traditional office look (leather oriental rugs and brown bookcases). Much to our surprise (again) this chair added a welcomed punch of transition. We could not be more pleased. Highly recommended. Side note. If you’re not handy have the store put the chair together for you.
The chair is mostly comfortable . I did have to buy a cushion as my bottom got sore after sitting for a couple hours. I wish it didn’t lean so far back with the tilt off . It is a very nice chair for the money.
After owning and using this chair for nearly a year I can't say that I would recommend this chair to anyone. The only reason I leave 2 stars instead of 1 is for the customer service for replacing the seat and seat base as the chair had a slight lean to the right. The plastic and mesh are of passable quality the metal of the seat base is poor quality and easily deforms. The chair is overall uncomfortable. The padding at the front of the seat cuts off circulation it also sits too far forwards so you often end up sitting on the plastic at the back of the seat-pan. The lumbar support is too low and tends to fall even lower as it fails to maintain position. The armrests are decent although a bit too far apart. Go with the Hyken if you must have a cheap chair from this company. I wish I had went that route. I'll probably be looking for something by Steelcase after this.
