Surprisingly the mesh on my chair seat part also tore away from the outer ring on one side (see pictures) after less than a month of use. I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs and only sit in this chair for about 3-4 hrs a day after class. Do not recommend.

Comfortable and provides good support. Assembly was easy but one of the components that locks and unlocks the recline feature didn't work. The holed didn't align so the pin to lock it did not go through. customer service at union & Scale was great. They gave me the option to return the chair for a new one or send me a replacement part. The replacement part came quickly and worked the way it should. I'm 6'2" 215 lbs and the chair is very comfortable.
