I bought this chair thinking it would be ideal as an office chair; however it's really meant for a man and probably a pretty big man IF the darned thing could actually withstand the test of times. I purchased this 3 years ago and am not overweight...I'm just an average sized person (5'5" 145 lbs) who just sits in the chair (no acrobatics lol) and the mesh is separating from the seat. Prior to the mesh separating I actually had to use a chair cushion because the material began to give and I was being stabbed in the side of my thigh by some piece of plastic in addition to my bottom hitting the metal plate beneath the seat. I would not recommend this to anyone. AVOID AVOID AVOID this overpriced garbage

Chair is well made easy to assemble. However I'm 6'0 not even consider myself as tall but the lumbar support was too high in its lowest setting. The headrest was too low in its highest setting. The armrests are too short leaving a great gap between the chair and the desk which also causes some discomfort. I get why it works for many people. Just didn't work for me so I returned it.
