Works Fine But Breaks Easily

I had this chair for a little more than a year using it just about every weekday. After this time the stopping mechanism that keeps the chair back from leaning back flat out broke and now it is very uncomfortable (no more back support as it keeps leaning back).

I bought this chair at a sale price of $149 to replace a Big and Tall leather chair. By the way I would advise to never buy a "leather" chair it is what is call 'bonded' leather ie a thin covering of leather-like vinal over fabric which will flake off after some years of service. I currently have little pieces of this all over my office Anyway the chair is reasonably comfortable. I found that it sits a little too high for me even at its lowest height adjustment and prevents my keyboard tray from sliding out. I also need a cushion for the seat but this is all very subjective
