"It has a sturdy structure and is easy to assemble but the mesh on the seat is too loose causing the front foam to push upward excessively. I'm not sure if this issue is specific to my chair or a general design flaw.

I’m a 5’6” woman with long legs and arms and weigh about 170 lbs. I found this chair to be too wide and that it didn’t raise up high enough for me to sit and type comfortably at a 29.5 inch desk. The chair depth is also too long plus with the way the back rest is positioned I find myself sitting forward or slouching way back to be able to reach my keyboard comfortably. The instructions say you can move the arms inward which I found to be untrue. You can only raise them up to a certain height that doesn’t work for me. Because of this I either am typing with my arms at a wide incline when I rest them on the arms or off the arms. With the head rest on I end up sitting with my neck forward and my back curved over. You’re supposed to be able to adjust the backrest but I also am unable to get it to adjust. I say in this chair and the Hyken at Staples and chose this one instead. I probably should’ve gone with the Hyken that supposedly has more adjustments or spent more to get something even better.

I bought this chair because I spend a lot of time at my desk and didn't want to break the bank. I am now on my second chair (thank you 3 year warranty) and here are some cons. Over time the mesh for the seat will wear and the cushion will give (about a year and a half for me). The hand rests for the chair have no cushion whatsoever so I bought arm rest pads for added comfort. Lumbar support could be better but I also have bad posture. Overall this is probably one of the best chairs I have owned. It's comfortable to sit in all day the seat is wide and the mesh keeps you cool on hot summer days. Most issues that I see in the reviews can be solved with warranty. Make use of Staples warranty system! This may be my second Dexley but it is definitely not my first chair or my last. Staples has a great warranty system use it! If they ever add more padding to the hand rests then I'll give it a 5/5.
