The chair is fair to middlin... It might be ok for someone taller. I'm only 5'5" and I feel a bit like Lilly Tomlin in this thing. I do like how far the back reclines. It's probably the only thing I like about it. One thing I found pretty annoying and it has nothing to do with my size. The arms are plastic and they have an outward slope to them. They force your arms to the outside of them and because they're slippery right off the edge. I find myself almost unconsciously correcting my arms all the time. Probably worth the $100 I paid for it.
I bought this chair for the lumbar and neck support and the larger seat. I tried every chair in the store and this is the only one that fit where I needed it to fit. I've assembled 4 other office chairs and this one was by far the most difficult. Everything is metal to metal held together by screws. It was difficult to position the parts so you can screw them together Other chairs had at least some slide in components that made screwing parts easier. The neck piece was especially difficult to screw in. The deep recessed holes and no way to see where the screws should go. I also had problems with delivery as Staples sent it for pick-up rather than to my home address per the invoice. Neither the stores nor customer service were helpful.
