I cannot sit for more than one hour without pain. The chair looks beautiful but the seat designed is very flawed. i read reviews saying the seat was hard not very comfortable but could not have imaged how uncomfortable this would be. I wasted my money don't waste yours!! Look the other way and buy a more comfortable chair.

When it comes to chairs seats couches and cars my rear-end is highly selective and sensitive to discomfort. The seat cushion of this chair has supported me and my overall energy level has increased due to greater comfort and less struggle. Without a lumbar cushion the back of this chair is not perfect; however I have added a baby pillow for my lower back and everything is wonderful again. I am only 5'3" and so even if they constructed lumbar support it probably would not have been the right location for me. Having to add a small cushion is not a problem for me at all. The entire chair is sturdy yet not super bulky like many others. Would I love more levers and adjustments? Yes but for sitting straight up at the desk or the dining table this is perfect! I purchased the 3-year insurance policy for this but honestly I do not believe I will be needing it. Give it a try and listen to your body for what it is telling you. Best of luck!
