Good Value Office Chair

I was looking for an affordable home office chair that is small and comfortable yet will allow me to swing the arms up and play guitar. Positives are the seat cushion is comfortable the arms are about 2 inches closer together than the larger office chairs it looks nice and the arms fold completely out of the way when desired. Negatives are a complete lack of lumbar support. I don't normally get back aches but after 2 hours in the chair it's noticeable. I should be able to solve this by stuffing a small pillow or blanket but it would be easier to just design it with a little support. The reclining spring tension is too stiff even when adjusted all the way out.

It is a good chair. However the foam that is used in the back it very soft. Too soft to provide lumbar support. I added a lumbar support cushion and now it is fine.

Can't recommend user assembly for this chair. Poor simplistic instruction booklet poor allen wrench. You need more than one person to hold chair to align screw holes correctly. Would never buy another chair from Staples.
