Good chair for the price. Comfortable- good height adjustment and easy enough to put together. The mesh seat could be a bit more supportive- I am not sure if someone above 70kg would find it supportive enough. Can’t comment on how long it’ll last with daily use but comfortable to sit in for hours on end
We bought this one about 7 years ago and the base was metal (this one is very hard plastic), BUT the wheels that come with this one are much better than year ago, so are quite a few features with the arm rests, and the height and back adjustments. There is less foam and less places for dust to hang out. It swivels and wheels quite nicely and so far has been holding up to our abuse like before. :)
The chair was a gift and it served the intended purpose. Unfortunately the box it was in was full of rat droppings' and had a distinct petting zoo smell.
we have aeron 2's at work, and i 6'200lbs have bought several all mesh chairs from jeff over the years with good results. the only value here is staples will still be here in a few years when this web mesh seat fails as i already some hard foam under it hoping to postpone the inevitable.
lumber support is a not adjustable not mesh cushion jabbed in your back while arm rests are hard. if you are already spending hundreds on a chair, look for a 2 part mesh back (headrest is the third part) and a forward adjustable mesh seat frame. you can find this in a noname that sadly may not be around years later like staples will.
protip while assembling this toy chair is to stick a phillips screwdriver thru the one screw hole of the headrest while trying to get the other screw to align properly. once you get the first screw in, then pull out the screwdriver and the second screw will go in it's place far easier.
