I have an old executive desk with drawers on each side and a pencil drawer directly over the foot well. The arm rests on many desk chairs are too long and too low so they run into the desk before I can scoot far enough forward and don't provide support for using a keyboard on the desktop. By contrast this chair has shorter arm rests plus they're adjustable in height so I can finally scoot forward enough and get arm support to comfortably use the keyboard on the desktop. This chair also has great back support and a comfortable seat. I think it's more comfortable than my Herman Miller Aeron chair at work which costs about four times as much. This chair obviously isn't the same quality as an Aeron but I'm not using it in a commercial environment either. I gave it four stars because it doesn't fit in with home decor but I haven't been able to find a supportive chair that does. Hugely better lumbar support than the La-Z-Boy Bradley which I had to return for that reason.
This purchase was made to use in an office setting where I am at my desk for long periods of time. This chair provides good support and I am very happy with it.
Don't you wish everything was? A bit tricky to assemble at home (picture instructions didn't help much) but if you know how these kinds of chairs work or have had other similar ones its no problem. I needed a real chair since WFH is a reality for me. It is strong and lightweight comfortable to sit in all day.
