Not that bad in terms of assembly. Ships in a few big pieces that you put together with some screws and an allen wrench. Once it's all set up sitting in it is comfy. I wouldn't say it's perfect--you can sink a little into the mesh and if you're on the tall side the headrest is more of a neckrest. But for the price I don't regret the purchase.

I bought this chair because of all the good reviews but buyer beware. The base of my chair cracked and the shock poked through it scratching my nice floor mat. The chair is ruined the mat is ruined.

My butt is numb after sitting on this chair

The chair is well made but after sitting in it for longer than 1 hour my butt goes numb. I gave it three days of sitting for 5-7 hours and it happened every time. I returned it and will be switching to a chair with a foam cushion instead.

I purchased 3 less than 1 yr ago. 2 have broken-center pole went all the way through base just as others said. Waiting months for part when 2nd broke-sending a replacement for 1 but not other. Will NOT purchase this brand again.
