Hurts after a while

I just moved to the area and sometimes I work from home. I got this chair because when I tried it in the store it felt comfortable and it reclined at a good angle. When I got the actual product you have to put a lot of weight on the back of the chair to keep it reclined. The mesh material isn’t comfortable at all especially if you’re wearing shorts or a tank top. The mesh rubbing against my skin can sometimes irritate it. The chair hurts my back after a while. Not sure if I can return it but sitting in this chair when I work from home is not ideal.
