Just Terrible Do Not Buy

This has to be the worst chair I've ever purchased. Within a week of purchase one armrest has snapped off (adjustable armrests come factory configured no opportunity for user assembly error) and the other is loose. Honestly terrible. I should have saved my receipt.
I’m 315 lbs and this chair has been great apparently it’s only rated for 275 lbs. since I recline a lot and sit in it ALL day I notice that the chair is slowly starting to fall down but I couldn’t have asked for a better chair that’s lasted me for 15 months plus and still going. I’m upgrading to an Aeron but the chair is still standing and can be put in another room. I bought a gaming chair that was similarly priced and that lasted for only 6 months. For price to the length of everyday use I would say go for it. I’m upgrading to an Aeron which cost me around 1600 after tax brand new so hopefully that lasts me for years and years for me being at my weight class. You get what you pay for in the longevity of your chair.
I had a U&S Flexfit Hyken chair before this one. That chair was astoundingly great especially for the price. The only issue was it was made for men/women of more average heights. At 6'3 it was just a little too small for me. This chair is practically the XL version of that one. For the most part it fixes the short comings of the Hyken (from the perspective of a taller person). Pros: Headrest actually goes above my shoulders! Lumbar support is generally in the right place and has adjustability Armrests are wider out and have a nice range of adjustability Cons: The recline/tilt feature simply isn't as good as the hyken's There needs to be foam padding at the rear edge of the seat. It can sometimes hurt my tailbone if I sit too long. That's why it's a 4/5 for me but it's such a good value
The seat of this chair is surrounded by a hard plastic lip that digs into my thighs and after a few hours becomes quite painful. I bought a seat cushion and that helps- but now I am sitting so high In the chair that the lumbar support and headrest don’t hit me in the right places. After a week I’m already looking to buy a new chair. I’d you are very thin and narrow with small thighs this may not impact you- but for everyone else- don’t buy this chair!
I bought this chair to replace a dining chair I had used at my home computer desk. I'm short and the dining chair was too low for comfort. This chair is height adjustable and has a lumbar support. The arm rests are also adjustable. I didn't realize how much these features would increase my comfort when working several hours a day at the computer.
