Mesh is a little bit firmer to sit on than foam or cushion seats on other chairs. Lumbar support is not adjustable. Headrest doesn't stay in the adjusted position. Just flops back to one position. It's an ok chair to be bought when discounted. Not worth the full retail price.
For context I bought this chair half-off so I'm reviewing it as a $130 chair. At that price I think it's a solid purchase. The build quality feels robust. I love the mesh which will be perfect as it gets warmer. As someone who is 5'8" the lumbar support and head rest fit me perfectly. I would like to see a greater degree of adjustability when it comes to the armrests and the angle of the back.
This chair is awesome and exactly as it looks in pictures. It only took my son about 20 minutes to put together and it’s perfect for his room/future dorm.
The chair seems well constructed I like the look of it and the various adjustment features. Unfortunately the front of the seat made the back of my thighs hurt where the front cross-bar lays. I returned it and got a Lazy-Boy instead. Must add the staff at Staples were very accommodating.
it's been 2 months since I bought this chair and for me I like the way it supports me under my legs. This is the first mesh type chair for me and it's great.
