I bought this chair for several reasons - first because it can handle the weight of a heavy person but have also found that it is fabulous for taller people. It's a solid and well-designed chair. The width is more than generous and the back support is both solid and in the right spot. This is a fairly heavy chair which makes sense but it glides smoothly on the wheels so all good. Best of all at 5'10" (and my daughter is 6'1") it is deep. Meaning you get a lot of leg support almost out to the knees. Most chairs are made to accommodate average and short people. And while this one can raise up and stay up well for a tall person the leg support is wonderful. It relieves pressure on my hips and hamstring and knee issues because my thighs are so well supported. Strongly recommend.
This is my far the most comfortable everyday office chair I have ever owned. As a bonus after every day useage for more than 4 years there are no problems with the chair at all!
Had this chair about a week build quality is pretty solid even the plastic parts feel heavy duty. The back and arms wobble a tiny bit but they are adjustable so it's not really possible to make it super sturdy/wobble free but it's not bad enough to really bother much. The only thing I wish this chair did better was the back. A friend recommended this chair to me as we are both on the heavier side (around 300lbs not huge huge but heavy) and chairs usually don't last me all but around 15-20 months before something gives out so I really wanted this chair for it's long life... But I prefer an executive back as I am 6'1 and a lot of my length is in my torso but this is a short back so my head just sits there. It was almost a deal breaker for me to be honest.
