I debated on several different models before I picked this chair but I made the right decision. It is very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. As for comfort the seat cushion is adequate and supportive. I was a little worried about some of the reviews stating that the seat was way to big and wide but if you have big hips or if you are a wide person this is the size seat that you want.
Finally have found a chair for my wide load. It is definitely the best built chair I have ever had. The telescoping actuator is stout enough to hold my 305 lbs up with my feet completely off the floor if I wanted it that high. The seat cushion is firm and thick and my rear end doesn't get sore from sitting all day unlike other cheap chairs advertised as big and tall and would wear me out. The base is steel and ruggedly built just like the rest of the chair. You can tell it is well made and heavy duty and was easy to assemble with color coded thread lock on the screws and easy to follow instructions. Every screw hole line up perfectly unlike cheaper chairs I've had in the past you had to strain to line up armrests. As you can tell I am happy with this chair. Should have followed my Grandpa's advice a long time ago when he said you get what you pay for.
My wife loves her new chair. She spends many hours working from home as a customer service rep. It provides long-lasting comfort support and proper height allowing to sit for long periods of time.
Hi. This chair is very roomy and spacious for your bottom. However there is no back support especially for your lumbar. You will need to purchase extra support some type of accessory to support your back. The other area of opportunity is the tilt of the seat of the chair. There is none although the description lists that there is a tilt. The back of the chair reclines and locks but the actual seat it leans forward which again is not good for the lumbar of your back. Also the chair sits low even when fully extended at its highest height so...that could be better as well. The fabric is itchy. For instance if you are sitting in the chair with shorts on the back of your legs will begin to itch because of the type of fabric. All in all it's a seat until your back starts to hurt from the unsupported lumbar. I plan to purchase another office chair to replace this one.

I bought this chair online without trying it out. As a result I was worried that it may not be right for me. However the chair arrived in 3 days and I promptly put it together. Assembly realistically was about a 40 minute job though nothing tough. After getting the chair assembled I must say that I am more than pleased with it. It is extremely sturdy and quite adjustable to your sizing needs. It looks very sharp and exceeds my expectations. To be truthful it may even be a tad overbuilt in so far as sturdiness…but that’s a good thing right? For the record I am 6’ 2” and 290 pounds and I have plenty of wide open space and comfort on this chair. If you truly are looking for a great solid managers chair that will stand up to daily full time use…this is it. Just order it! I fully recommend this chair particularly to larger people!
Great chair especially if you are bigger than average.

I'm 383 lbs. The typical office chair is neither comfortable or sturdy enough for me. But most Big & Tall chairs are just too pricey... especially to buy online without sitting in it first. But the Driscott chair is sturdy roomy and reasonably priced. And I was thrilled to see the rugged metal base. I hesitated to buy it because I couldn't find what the base was made of in the description. Staples delivered it fast and it was simple to assemble.
