Starting my work from home thinking it would only be a short time but soon realized the chair I was using would not suffice. I am 6’2” and weigh I. At just over 300. Chair is very comfortable and feels sturdy. Hate going back to my chair at work.

So the assembly part is easy. They label the screws very well. 5-6 step assembly. I’m a big guy so I needed a serious chair. This met that requirement. It’s is adjustable in the raising of the back of the chair. However tilt lock only keeps it from tilting back. It would be better if it had multiple locking points but whatever. The other pain point is that the butt doesn’t adjust forward. But being that the butt of the chair is so big it’s not really needed. Being that I’m 6’1 I get enough support in my legs. The price is hard to swallow but the sturdiness of this chair I don’t see myself buying another chair for another 10 pandemics.

When I started working from home I realized I needed a great chair for the long days. I am plus sized but well within the ratings this chair is supposed to handle. I bought one in July and by February it had stopped holing it’s height settings. This causes me further injury and made for a bad experience. I was sent parts and told to fix it myself. The parts arrived damaged. Clearly just packaged badly as all the broken pieces were inside. I called and a new chair was sent. I have had it less than a week and for the second Time the chair is malfunctioning in the same way. While is super comfortable if you need the height adjustment to get a comfortable setting you are probably out of luck. Appreciate staples refunding my money but still have to hunt up a new chair while I continue to work uncomfortably. Would rate it 5 stars when working properly but 0 when broken.

Seat is wider than I expected and is comfortable. Seems to be reasonably sturdy. I have only had it for a week so its ability to handle stress over time is still being tested. It has a nice set of adjustments and rolls pretty well even on berber carpet. For an under 350 dollar chair I think it is worth the price. The lumbar support was a plus.

As someone who is plus size this chair is plenty wide (so if your smaller or average sized this might be too wide for you) I weigh 400+ and this chair is very adjustable. Definitely read the manual even after it's set-up. I would definitely recommend buying a back pillow to increase comfort.
