I think most write a review the same day or only a few days after purchase. I'm glad I waited! It was nice at first but soon the cylinder would lower the chair soon after raising it. I am under the weight limit so it should have held up. Not only that the seat loses its support after a couple months. I bought this chair for working at home so I needed comfort for 8+ hours of work. I would not recommend this chair for long-term use. I just bought another chair.

I’ve bought this chair before and loved it which is why I ordered it again. Unfortunately this most recent purchase has been one of the worst experiences. The cushion is low quality – soft and lightly padded – and it already feels like I’m sitting directly on the wood base. No matter how I adjust it the chair leans forward in an uncomfortable way and it constantly makes creaking sounds like it’s about to break. It’s disappointing because I know how good this chair used to be. This version feels cheaply made and nothing like my past purchases. Sadly I won’t be buying it again.

Incredible price for a chair of this quality! This is the most comfortable office chair! If you need a big and tall chair -- this one is for you!! I had another big and tall chair from a different brand that was more than twice this price. It tipped over on me a few times and I was always sliding forward out of the chair!

After almost 6 weeks of use it is holding up well. The extra wide frame fits my wide bottom with room to spare. The seat padding is thick and seems to be of a higher density foam to stand up to my 340#s. The wheel base is of steel construction and the casters are slightly larger and beefier than in standard chairs. The arm rests are extra large and comfortable and sit onto very beefy metal brackets. I love the lumbar support pad in the back rest. Summing up I wanted to rate it 4-1/2 stars but you don't get that option. It is almost too big for my body frame but I need the sturdiness that this chair provides. The only negative for me so far is that the seat is almost too large that the front edge goes all the way to the front of my thigh bottoms behind the knees. That does irritate after many hours of use. In conclusion it is an extra large and sturdy chair.

I ordered this chair because I am a BIG but not tall person. I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and the chair is very tall I have an adjustable desk and had to raise it several inches but my body rests well on the chair and my feet fit squarely on the ground. The arm rests are very hard they have a groove to rest your arms and the outer edge is sharper my arms end up resting on the outer edge and I have formed a bruise where it rests. I was going to return the chair because of the arm rests but my beautiful cats scratched the cloth seat so it is not returnable. I used a pillow to sew cushions for the arm rest so that my arms would not rest on the hard arm rests. If the arm pads were softer and didn't have the hard sharp edges I would have rated this chair at least a 4.

I love the chair but one major flow is the arm rest crack! They cracked within the first month of having it and now i have huge cracks and padding showing. Looks terrible.
