I needed a new office chair and this Rutherford Faux Leather chair is a perfect fit for what I wanted. I was looking for a comfortable but affordable chair and at $99 I got both! Took me about 25-30 mins to put together. Very happy with the comfort I was getting some sciatic pains down my leg from my last chair and those are gone now. Has really nice lumbar support as well!

Very narrow

The seat is very narrow. I am a tall somewhat large man. I cannot imagine how bad it is for a woman with broad hips or anyone heavier than me. My thighs are jammed up against the arm rest supports on both sides when sitting in a very normal position. Padding is very standard nothing special whatsoever. I imagine that just like every other chair I've bought I'll need to use a lumbar and seat cushion after a few weeks. The one I received doesn't have any manufacturing or shipping defects. Installation was very straightforward. For sparing use or slimmer adults it is likely just fine especially for the price when on sale.

This is a wonderful chair. I'm 5'5 135lb so this is from the perspective of someone with these measurements. The back is high enough for me to rest my head which was one of my must-haves. I did read another review where a 6'1" man mentioned it's also high enough for him to rest his head and neck so I think this chair's height is suitable for taller people too. My desk height is 30" and the chair and arms can fit comfortably under this height (and can be adjusted lower or higher if needed). The color is slightly darker than pictured but not a huge difference. Lastly the instructions were excellent. They packaged the hardware in separate compartments labeled with each step so you know exactly what to use when. It's very clear. It took about 1 hour to put together at a leisurely pace while I watched a show. Nothing was too heavy to lift or hold in place. I highly recommend this chair!
