I work out of my home and have purchased many computer chairs in the past 15 years but this chair is the most comfortable chair I have ever bought. I love it. My son bought one just like it after he sat down in it.

After assembly found bad seam with 1/2 inch open. Too much trouble to disassemble and ship back. Poor quality control by manufacturer.

I even managed to put it together myself despite being over 60! It is an incredible bargain for the price and so comfortable.

My advice: don't buy something as personal as a desk chair for someone else. The chair didn't even come out of the box. I'm sure it's a fine chair but the recipient of my gifting it to him had something else in mind.

This is a great looking chair and for someone tall it might be good. Even with the chair all the way down it is too high to be comfortable. My husband is an average size- and the arm rest push into his thigh because they are curved in. Staples is awesome and the chair is an easy return it just wasn’t right for my 5’9 size 36 husband.

I had been searching for a reasonable replacement for my old Luxsteel office chair but could not find something with a contemporary style for what I considered a reasonable price. This Staples Rutherford chair is an inexpensive chair and is a great value. Now admittedly this is a $100 chair. You can’t compare it against a $1000 Luxsteel but for the money the chair seems well built is comfortable and has a good imitation for leather. It is definitely not the real thing but overall looks and feels good. I guess time will tell how it holds up under daily use. Comes with an incredible 7 year warranty. Overall for the money can’t be beat.
