The Rutherford office chair is easy to assemble very comfortable for work-from-home days and the material is smooth/supple. The tilt-lock feature prevents accidental imbalance incidents & the adjustable height accommodates both my 6'3" frame as well as my 5'4" fiancée comfortably. I would definitely purchase again

My advice: don't buy something as personal as a desk chair for someone else. The chair didn't even come out of the box. I'm sure it's a fine chair but the recipient of my gifting it to him had something else in mind.
