What a relief to lean your head and shoulders back on a high back chair. The Rutherford replaces the six year old Staples medium back and the benefit of a high back make it a new essential feature for office chairs. Great assembly instructions. Pre-threading bolts to be sure you're not 'cross-threading' on assembly is a handy step to test fit fasteners. The step up in seat cushion thickness differentiates the Rutherford from more economical models. With only a few days in service it's hard to see anything of concern in quality and assembly ease. Well done Staples.

This is the 3rd chair I bought in the past month - the first two weren’t cutting it for me. I found a floor model at my local Staples and decided to try this one out - it was very nice! This chair is very comfortable and can be sat in for long hours. I’m a tall guy (6’3”) and this chair fits perfectly for me. I’m a little worried about the leather deteriorating over time but for now it is a sturdy material and feels good to sit in. Overall very happy with this chair.

The chair is nice but one pack was missing one of the bolts. It was time consuming for me to find a metric bolt with 20 pitch threads and modify it to fit the access hole.
