This is a simple device to make and receive calls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using my device on a daily basis. When I go to the grocery store, I usually place calls at the end of my shopping trip in order to get home, and bring the groceries in. The interface in so simple. First, I look for the keypad under the phone app. That one is beside the message (text) button. Next, I dial the number and when done, I have plus sign options to save the new telephone number. At the top the battery meter is displayed like a percentage. It tells me when to recharge.

A good budget phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a good phone for the price. It has all the standard features you could want out of a modern android smartphone, plus some added extras like NFC and (a slower version of) fast charging. The software support is excellent, miles ahead anything any other handset makers are putting out at a lower price point. It really feels like you're getting a premium experience.
The only real issue I had was the way the phone handles memory and it lacks the ability to really integrate SD cards with the internal memory for apps and media. Not easily.

Wish I was rich

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I so wish I was rich again and could have the top of the line samsung phone. Back when I did I would defend it to anyone and any other phone. I loved the camera were I took just as good front pictures as I did rear pictures. Plus I was able to run my office on the back of a motorcycle (would make a great commercial) I was truly proud of my Samsung and wanted everything I owned to be samsung. Now I'm nor as I was I still have a samsung but the bottom of the line and still enjoy it but not like I once did. Hopefully one day I will again

Great first phone for my daughter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone as a phone from my daughter to use when she goes out with friends or to public places. Essentially it is a family phone because she is still too young (7th grade) in my opinion to have one for herself. We are in alignment with the "wait til 8th" campaign to keep kids off smartphones until second semester of 8th grade. I love how well integrates with the protections as a kid's phone, such as having to get approval for her apps. It's reliable and has all the bells and whistles that we need and expect out of the Samsung phone. It's a big phone and she's able to take pictures and videos with friends. Essentially, it's a high-end phone at an affordable price. It does everything we needed to do and more. When she's old enough, this will become her regular phone.
