We replaced our over the range microwave with this beautiful Hauslane hood and couldn’t be more pleased with it. It worked great with our 9” ceilings; no chimney extension necessary. It also functions very well. So happy to be venting out while cooking again.

I will admit that I was somewhat reluctant to order as I had never heard of this company before. But the “appliance name” hood we were waiting on was perpetually out of stock in the black stainless and we needed to get something to finish our build.
Fast forward, we are just as happy with this unit and spent half as much. Looks nice, exhausts strongly, and sound level seems reasonable for the amount of air being moved. Also, Hauslane has real people that will answer on chat and can help you through any problems you might have — real people on the other end of the line is something not every company does these days.
Bottom line, if you’re looking at it and not sure…just order it.

I love this hood. It looks great in my new remodel kitchen. The black stainless steel color is just the right fit for the decor in my kitchen. It lives up to the product description.

I like the electronic switches VS the mechanical interlocking switches on some brands.

I was happy to find this unit that had the switching I wanted without spending more for wireless connectivity that I didn't need. I like the dark stainless steel. I am going to use the non outdoor venting to see how well it works with the charcoal filters.

The cord is too short and makes a space which makes it difficult to square up the chimney to the wall. We absolutely love the hood itself as it is very beautiful. The fan on low has lots of power but on high the sound is loud. We do love this hood.

Looks nice but I thought it was black, it?? more of a stainless steel black. On low it?? too loud, also was hoping the house would not smell like whatever I cooked. Hoping to read other reviews. Installation was also difficult.
