While I was very excited to try my new Blender/Food Processor. I’m very disappointed with my blender it doesn’t seem to blend well at all. I constantly have to move whatever I’m blending manually to the bottom so the blades can catch it. The process to blend frozen fruit is too long. I am really going to return. It because I’m discouraged every time I’m needing to blend something due to the amount of time it will take with having to stop and start the process just to move the contents to the blade and then finally it gets blended. This isn’t how this was supposed to turn out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Versatile tool. I was shopping for a blender. I like the idea of the added functionality of the food processor. If you're a hard core foodie you probably need a devoted food processor but as someone who otherwise wouldn't have one this fills the need perfectly. The blender has been used almost daily since we bought it. We've only had it a few months but love it so far.

I traded in a Ninja for the Velocity Blender/Food Processor. The Ninja blender pitcher was extremely prone to cracking and Ninja was difficult dealing with a replacement after the warranty period. The pitcher costs almost as much as the entire blender. I also have limited storage space and needed to replace my food processor. The Velocity suited my purposes very well. The design is clever, with the two-sided disk for the food proessor and the blade attachment for the blender being also used for the smoothie cup.
