Versatile tool. I was shopping for a blender. I like the idea of the added functionality of the food processor. If you're a hard core foodie you probably need a devoted food processor but as someone who otherwise wouldn't have one this fills the need perfectly. The blender has been used almost daily since we bought it. We've only had it a few months but love it so far.

While I was very excited to try my new Blender/Food Processor. I’m very disappointed with my blender it doesn’t seem to blend well at all. I constantly have to move whatever I’m blending manually to the bottom so the blades can catch it. The process to blend frozen fruit is too long. I am really going to return. It because I’m discouraged every time I’m needing to blend something due to the amount of time it will take with having to stop and start the process just to move the contents to the blade and then finally it gets blended. This isn’t how this was supposed to turn out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am currently trying to work with Cuisinart on the issues with my unit. I do not know if it's this particular unit or the "line". I have sent my machine back to have it repaired, I have received it back and still have the same issue. This is with the food processor part. Even with a smaller wedge of cheese the blades do not spin! I am hoping that Cuisinart addresses the issue more thoroughly. But at this time I would NOT recommend this product.

It works great, replaced another cuisinart we had for 15 years. Love the travel cup smoothie function. The only negative is this unit is VERY loud and literally will vibrate off the counter if you don't hold on to it. (I didn't believe a review I had read before purchasing, I see with my own eyes now)

Very good foe making smoothies. Two things to note: it turns the “wrong” way: right to loosen and left to tighten. It’s also pretty noisy, wish it were a little bit quieter
