I love the color & weight of the case; however I dropped my phone the day after I purchased it & my screen cracked!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re happy to send a new OtterBox product under our product warranty, but we are unable to extend our warranty to the device itself, as we are not the manufacturer. The case has protected the phone so far but the belt clip doesn't stay on my belt and the phone pops out of the holster about every other way.

The last otterbox for my Galaxy s22 ultra lasted many years until the rubber worn out. The new case rubber tab that powers up the phone takes several attempts to get phone to power up. The phone will eventually get up but aggravating 😒 I think this is a defective push button on the case rubber, but I can get it working after several attempts.

Therevis no open port in the cover for my android. Only a flap that is very inconvenient and will eventually tear off. No research was done. Not good.....

Great case!

I purchased this case when I pre-ordered my new phone. It arrived super early and has worked wonderfully since installing the case on my phone. The raised edges protect the screen and still allows for access the the sPen. It does take some getting used to when pulling the sPen out due to the top of the case being so close to the sPen, but it works. I wouldn't trust and other case to provide such a level of protection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Insurance Policy for S22 Ultra

The S22 Ultra is an amazing but very big phone, a little scary for an active person who has been known to drop her phones more than once. This case is so well engineered and looks really good (I have Fort Blue). It has already saved my phone more than once. The screen cover much more useful than I had expected: I clip it onto my jeans and keep my phone with me all the time. It is really easy to pop the phone in and out intentionally, and really hard to do it accidentally! Addressing things I've read: The stylus is still perfectly accessible. The cover protecting the charging port is a bit too springy, I use 2 hands, one to plug in the cord and one to hold the cover back, but then it's fine. Some reviewers had speculated that the case would pick up lint and dust -- mine has stayed clean, and the matte finish gives you a good grip on the phone. While I did invest in a good screen protector, I do not see the need for a rear camera protector unless you are in the most rugged of environments...this case keeps it recessed quite far so it is unlikely to be damaged when dropped. There is nothing petite about the phone, and this case adds to it in size and weight. But you know that already if you buy the phone, and the whole point is to keep this big, expensive piece of electronics in good shape while living your life. I am very pleased with my choice. This is my second Otterbox'ed phone, and the first lived a long and healthy life, through hikes and kayaks and running and (yes) dropping, with the help of its case. I am optimistic for this phone too!

Will not stay in holster

As usual all good things come to an end. Loved my old Otterboxes except for the last two i have purchased. This S22 ultra is the worst yet. Kept falling out of the holster till finally today my screen cracked. Only had it for less than six months. Seems the cases went bad about the time they stopped including screen protectors. Oh well, will have to find something else. I can't carry my phone in my pocket(it's too big) and the old ones did not have the holster issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When using that holster, did you try situating your phone into it with the screen facing into your hip? This can help keep things more secure. As far as the built-in screen protector goes, our engineers determined that it would hinder the use of your phone's touchscreen. To provide the best experience possible, we opted to remove that.
