Perfect Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a shun brisket carver that’s really mostly just got for brisket. This knife has great balance, is super sharp, and a joy to use for sashimi, carving meat, etc. very happy to add this to my knife collection. It looks great too!

Perfect slicer. Made in Japan using FC61 steel is extremely durable, and allows for a razor sharp edge that lasts. The beautiful pakkawood handle feels great and the design works for my left handed husband.
Use several times a week, and can easily produce paper thin slices of poultry, beef, ham, cold cuts and hard cheese with little effort. Also perfect for sushimi which is also something we appreciate. We love this knife and we are extremely pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful knife

Beautiful knife can’t wait to use it. Was concerned about the handle shape being uncomfortable but the balance of the blade and the shape of the bolster makes this such a comfortable blade to handle
