Nice printer, software could be more user friendly

Printer seems to be pretty good after a month of use. Still getting used to the lag time as i changed over from a tank printer to this laser but it is defininately fast and prints very nice. One thing to note is i am still struggling with the scanner setup. I do a fair amount of scanning and it seems like a cumbersome process compared to what i am used to. I am hoping i can find some shortcuts to make this better.

Best Printer By Far

Great printer! I use it for my notary business with home loans.. I had one years ago with a dual tray. This one comes with only one tray, but I was able to buy the second tray which makes it complete for me.
I was once a GM for Staples and buying cartridges for a less expensive printer is where people go wrong.
This is a laser printer and prints up to 6,500 pages per drum..
Love having the scanning as well. It has come in handy so many times..

Extremely well crafted printer / scanner with good support. One area for improvement would be better software for windows 11. My setup is windows 11 native driver (for printing) and iPrint&Scan (for scanning) - with ZERO Brother drivers. This works great for me, but should be plug and play right out of the box.

This machine is fairly slow. It does NOT give you a warning when you are getting close to be out of ink.

I've had lots of printers over the years; ink jets lasers, copiers, etc. Almost every brand and the Brother has been the most dependable.
