Scanning not seamless

Still not able to use the scan function to my desktop so i can print or email the scan from my MFC-L8900

Good but doesn't work great with a MacBook Pro

I loved this printer when I used Windows but now I have a MacBook Pro and there is no driver download. Because of this I have to take a ton of extra steps to scan. Thank goodness for Dropbox otherwise I would hate this machine.

Great features and good value

Previously had a Lexmark with print, scan and copy functions and the Brothers product is far superior and about the same price for the machine. It appears that the ink cartridges are much less expensive which is a big plus.

I bought this to replace a Canon multifunction printer that was less than a year old. So far, although just a tad slower to start, it works great and the cost of the toner is soooo much less

Very complicated to use

I find this product extremely difficult to use. Everytime you want to print an envelope, you have open to back, push down buttons on each side go back to PC and print. There is also not an additional tray for legal size paper.

Always great. Consumables are way too expensive

We have owned maybe a dozen Brother MFCs. We are Realtors. Good speed and reliability. When they break though, it makes little sense to repair them. The cost of s new machine is on par with a full set of extra height capacity toner.
