Disappearing text

It is quiet, easy to set up, and prints envelopes with ease. I would give it 5 stars but for one misgiving. Several of our Christmas cards were returned to us because the addressee moved or died, Their appearance shocked me. The adddress had faded - not just a bit. It was hardly readable. I'm concerned that the toner did not adhere well to the holiday envelopes. It did not smudge. It was as if it had been printed in invisible ink and I was looking at it just before it disappeared altogether.

Terrible WiFi

This printer is decent unless you want to use wifi instead of having it hard wired to your network. It constantly disconnects from our shops wifi one or more times a day. Literally nothing else disconnects from our wifi setup except for this printer.

Not complex setup

My 2nd Brother laser color printer. Easy to setup and use. I don’t even look at other brands! Reliable!!
I only had to buy another one because power outages fried the first one that I had for 12 years and still worked perfectly.

Clean and beautiful print

This color laser printer is everything I hoped for! The print quality, both in black and white and in color, is excellent. I no longer have the issue of my color cartridges drying out (as I did with my color ink jet printer), which is the main reason I decided to switch to this printer. It is also very reasonably priced for its quality and features.
The print speed is reasonable, even on duplex. It’s not very loud, whether asleep or printing, and it works seamlessly with all my devices. I have not yet printed anything on photo paper, but I expect it be excellent on that as well.
I couldn’t be happier with this printer! I love it!

Dependable, Just Not as Good as My Old One

I bought this Brother printer to replace a 10-year-old Brother color laser printer that I loved. This one is good, but not as good as that old one. (I could no longer get software to use it with my state-of-the-art Apple laptop.) The print doesn't seem as crisp. That's my main complaint. The speed and color are good and I like the low profile of the machine.

Decent product, but they ask you to include the serial number for software upgrades but when you do it doesn't work. Very frustrating. Other than that it works well

Hopefully longer life

The print quality is not quite as sharp as the HL-3170CDW that was replaced. I have expectations that this printer will last longer. The HL-3170CDW needed all the drums replaced at 2500 prints. That is 12500 prints shy of what they are rated for.
