Dependable, Just Not as Good as My Old One

I bought this Brother printer to replace a 10-year-old Brother color laser printer that I loved. This one is good, but not as good as that old one. (I could no longer get software to use it with my state-of-the-art Apple laptop.) The print doesn't seem as crisp. That's my main complaint. The speed and color are good and I like the low profile of the machine.

It's so fast!

Setup was easy peasy and it prints fast from both my phone and computer. The thing I love most is that I can print large files for school or long contracts for my businessin no time at all.

Love the extra paper drawer option in case I need it too. This printer is the bomb and will come in so handy for all my needs!

It’s nice for home and small businesses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all with me working in an office setting for many years I have used several types and brands of copiers/printers. I have also had a few in my home. This printer was not an easy setup. Not sure if the difficulty was because I was setting it up to a Mac or my internet connection but I had some troubles. Once I got everything set up it was easy to print documents from my computer and random items from the internet. The printing is fast and the copies are clear and comparable to the expensive copiers at my job. I think this printer will create nice photos on photo paper as well. I think the only drawback for me is it does not have the top scan feature. The toner cartridges are kind of pricey but I’m sure you will get more printed pages versus the cheaper ink cartridges.
