It’s my favorite knife by far

When I got married 30 years ago, I registered for a very basic knife set. I always thought it was fine and didn’t think I needed top quality for my very simple cooking. I didn’t love it but it got the job done. I recently received this knife and honestly, you don’t know what you don’t know. This knife is like a different level entirely. First of all, it’s so comfortable and well balanced in my hand. I find that the motion of cutting is more efficient and faster. The knife cut through items like butter. I’m laughing because it’s so trite, but that’s actually what I said the first time I used it. I didn’t know that a knife could be that smooth and effortless. I guess it’s true that you get what you pay for. This knife cost more than my others, but it’s such a higher quality blade that it’s worth it. I have two family weddings coming up and I’ve decided that really good quality knives will be my gift. I wish I had splurged a little more all of those years ago!
