I lost my last chef's knife in my divorce (it was a wedding present 17 years ago, so its probably appropriate), and bought a non-Zwilling knife to replace it. That knife ended up in the garbage because it would not hold an edge, and I had to get another Zwilling knife. Other than smaller paring knives (that are also Zwilling), this is the only knife I use. I will not have a kitchen without one.
I love this knife. It's hard to believe I've gone this long without it! Lol! The balance and heft are good and the grip is not slippery. It makes food prep so much easier.
