Tried it out on chopping raw veggies and even tried it with cutting steak! Cuts like butter. Only thing I don’t like is I wish it came with a whole cover for the blade not just a tip cover.

Great chef's knife!

I'm not new to cooking, but recently decided to step up my game in the kitchen and so this is my first proper chef's knife. I was intimidated at first by its size, but it's pretty comfortable to hold and I really love it! Great for tougher veggies like potatoes, and more delicate foods as well. The handle is pretty thick and easy to hold -- this is a very individual thing, of course, so it might be helpful to hold one in person before buying. This is probably best for those with medium to large hands.
