This is a solid kitchen knife. I have bought these for a wife and daughter, and my son who runs a kitchen professionally. The quality is good. They hold an edge well and are a great classic chef knife for the toughest jobs. My son distributed these at kitchen work stations. These are a good value and a workhorse kitchen knife.
