I was surprised to find it was very light weight, but was initially pleased. However, it didn't keep it's edge and has begun to rust between the blade and handle. This is not the quality I expected from such a distinguished company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best knife I have

This is probably the best knife I've ever had. It has a good weight, it's incredibly sharp and cuts very smoothly. I've only had it for about a week but so far I love it.

This knife is a dream!! Prep now is a breeze - makes me dread it a lot less! This thing is scary sharp. I've never cut tomatoes so easily. Has a very sharp pointed tip. I love that the handle is made using recycled materials. Easily maintainable with simple care. This knife will get near daily use. Definitely highly recommend!!

Game changer knife!

This knife has made the job of prep work so much more satisfying! Once I saw how this thing sliced through a tomato I was convinced! I can’t wait to go to my knife skills class at Sur La Table with this thing (and in case anyone wasn’t aware, they will sharpen your knife for you!). I can tell this knife is going to last a long time and is very well made.

This knife is heaven! I've had my set of wusthofs for years now, but the sturdiness and weight of the Zwilling takes my knife skills to a whole new level!
