[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The my passport line of WD has been around for a long time with great reputation and this 2T portable drive is as expected. I had many WD portable hard drives before and this one is the same good value. No issue so far and performs very well.

Easy to use portable storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great, easy to use portable storage. I wanted something that I could use to backup all of my thousands of pictures that are stored across multiple devices. We have lost all pics from phones before and don’t want that to happen again.

Great size and very reliable so far. As portable drive capacities get larger and larger, I don't have to carry more than one or two when I'm on the road and still have my work and entertainment files. Have to ensure I have solid backups, but that's fairly easy to do these days!

Great for storing files

I have been a long time Macbook Pro user and this portable external hard drive is extremely great for backing up all the important files in my laptop. I do most of my work using my Macbook so this is important to me incase something happens to my computer. It works great with Time machine. It is easy to use like any external hard drive. I like that my files are safe in this hard drive because it is encrypted and secured with password protection. This external hard drive is well built. It is portable so I can easily take it anywhere with me. Great product and must have for backing up important datas.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great accessory to my laptop

I transferred all my images, I take lots of pictures, have many generations of old family recipes and documents stored into my laptop hard drive, its a great way to reduce the space being taken up. Simply drag, drop files to and from the Mac/computer, organize the information and I'm able to share as well. You can also activate a password if you'd like. What a wonderful accessory to my laptop, its small, easy to store and keep on my small desk, easy to transport, easy to install. It definitely seems of great quality and durability. I would definitely recommend the My Passport Mac.

Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The My passport 2 TB by WD is is a good portable drive I use it on my 10 year old Mac mini because it has a small drive. The drive was easy to set up with the usb wire that was provided. With its 2 terabytes I have plenty of space now for storage. It transfers files pretty quickly. And it small enough to put in your pocket. I recommend it to any one who needs extra room on their computer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of a WD Passport drive, and I was not disappointed. USB transfer times are excellent and the drive doesn't require a separate power source, so it's perfect if you're a photographer on assignment. The little Case Logic case works great to protect the drive from knocks and dings.
