We really like the new Roku Doorbell Camera!! We love how alerts pop up on our TV. After having a Blink for two years this is hands down so much better.

Missing instructions

I only received "Quick Start" instructions in the box, but no complete written ones. Using the QR Code, I followed all the instructions, except for one. The instructions about the tiny security screw at the bottom. I did search the internet, and I did find the following, "Using the included T8 screwdriver, drive and tighten the security screw into the bottom of your video doorbell to keep it in place." After trying this for 15 minutes, I gave up. There is NO WAY you can 'drive' this screw into anything!! It just keeps rotating! Your Technical Writers evidently did not try to assemble this product while writing about it! So, I have the completed unit working, but without this 'security screw' attached! Now what?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great video/camera quality. Detects motion and package detections. The chime volume is loud so I can hear when someone presses the doorbell. I get notified on my Roku Tv when there is someone at my door. Love this doorbell so much!

A great camera for the price

It’s a good camera for making sure your house is safe and to see who is coming on your property and the door bell is loud. Putting the doorbell up took maybe 1 min after you get it set up on the app. The app is user friendly and set up
Is quick. Also it charges super quick. Only issue I have had is once in awhile it does go super dark and then it goes back to normal not sure why but it’s still a great affordable camera.

Eyes and Ears

I am so impressed by this doorbell camera! It is so great to be able to have another set of eyes and ears on the exterior of my home. I love that I can quietly listen in to what someone is saying, choose to speak to them, or choose to record the video of the whole interaction. Roku really thought of everything, even the notifications to let me know when someone is approaching my home. I think I’ll be adding exterior cameras soon.
