Roku wire free door bell

The new Roku wire free doorbell is awesome. If I'm watching television in the back room I'm able to switch to see whose at my door when the bell rings. I able to answer the door when away through the Roku app. Easy to sey-yp and easy to set, I love it.

Clear pictures and prompt notifications

I bought this Roku Chime doorbell a month ago and I’m so happy with the service it gives. It took pictures of every movement that occurred. I liked the live video it provided to see at any times. I liked the easy self installation.

Everything about the Roku camera family is so much better than Ring. We own two homes. I was given a Ring doorbell a couple of years ago so I added a couple of Ring indoor cameras for that house. At our vacation home I added the Roku doorbell and several indoor plus one outdoor camera. 100% better than Ring. Here is why… 1- single annual fee covers all devices in multiple locations. 2- far less expensive yearly. 3- we have Roku sticks in all TV’s. The Roku Cameras app is on the Roku home page. I can check on our different locations from any TV very quickly and easily. 4- the picture quality on the Roku indoor cameras is much higher quality. 5- Roku cameras were half the cost of the Ring cameras. Need I say more?

Doesn’t connect, always has Error IV22-20004

I thought the camera a few weeks ago and nearly every single day I am pulling the camera off to rest and reconnect to the chime and monitoring hub. After that it’ll work for a few days but once someone rings the doorbell or comes in the view it goes back to being unable to connect. Do not understand how Roku can make such amazing products and interior cameras that work flawlessly but can’t build a doorbell camera that works. Cant troubleshoot the issue because Roku smart home just says it’s a distance error when it couldn’t be with the chime and the modem being within a few feet of each other. Honestly ready to return the camera to the store and switch to ring. If you’re thinking about buying one, I just wouldn’t. Should’ve read reviews for once before buying this product. Only thing actually nice about it, is when it does work it has great video and sound quality but that just doesn’t justify the cameras failure to preform as advertised and expected

I received my outdoor video doorbell, installed and set up with the choices i had. It is not able to reach any more than 15-25 feet detecting a person. I have all the settings correct that it will let me do. I may have to go back to a Ring camera as it will record a vehicle pulling in way out in the driveway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku Doorbell - Really Good - Upgrade suggestions

No complaints; easy to install, price right, great features. Suggested upgrades. #1. Allow for several chimes to be plugged into outlets around the house, but all connected to 1 doorbell. #2. Make it so the chime unit can also have a 2-Way speaker / microphone to the outside unit
