Not keeping your promise

I was granted a 14 day free trial for this wireless doorbell camera and it was great at first, then no more notifications or videos after the 4th day. Highly doubt that I will be purchasing a plan when you can hold up to a 14 day free trial period.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We noticed that you have already contacted our customer support team, however, the representative was unable to complete the troubleshooting steps with you because you are not currently at the doorbell's location. Once you return to the location, please try to power cycle the doorbell by flipping the breaker switch that powers it to the "OFF" position. Wait for 10 full seconds. Flip the breaker switch back to the "ON" position. Additionally, sign out of the Roku Smart Home app and then sign back in. Make sure that both the app and the device are updated. Waste of Money! Piece of crap!

Bought this for both doorbell and supposed camera features to keep an eye on our house when home or if we had to go away for anything. I even paid for the subscription for the better features. I went step by step setting it up. Needless to say highly disappointed as it didn't record or alert me to multiple things. My new vehicle was in view of the sensor and etc. It never alerted the motion or anything that someone was attempting to mess with it. When we would go to appts it wouldn't alert us in the app of anything that was happening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have struggled for years now with not having a doorbell or camera and this device was the perfect easy fit for my needs. Super easy and i love having confirmations of visitors and packages. I would highly recommend this device for ease of use and clarity.

Not worth it, even on sale.

I got this on sale and even then, it was a huge disappointment. Initial setup was a pain, it didn't want to connect to the wifi. Once it was set up, it consistently disconnects and wont reconnect (the only device I have that does this). The live video quality is poor, and event videos won't save. About an hour after initial setup, all events just take a still image instead of a video, an issue that's been complained about online for years. And to top it off, I have to pay for shipping for my return all because this piece of junk doesn't do the only task it's supposed to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just purchased and have to charge battery already… it’s only been two days. Maybe I’m doing something wrong… but love the range and clarity of camera.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi CJ, thanks for sharing as we can help! When a camera's battery is draining too quickly, it's usually because the camera is recording many new events throughout the day. Visit your camera's Settings, Device info, and Battery usage to see how your battery is being most impacted.

As a tip, it can help to decrease your event recordings, lower detection sensitivity, increase your camera's cooldown time, and decrease your maximum video time. These adjusts are all located inside of your camera's settings and can significantly preserve your battery life. However, if you prefer, we also offer a solar panel accessory that will charge your camera when placed in sunlight.
