Very pleased with the ease of installation and performance. A straightforward upgrade from my Asus Z-170E. Most of my components and the cabinet survived the trip (I had to change out a USB Serial cable, no upgrade path for W11. Not an Asus issue.).
Installation was quite simple, as I have done several of these in the past. The only problem was the lack of networking (Wi-Fi and LAN). The provided drivers on the web site did not correct this problem, but after communicating with Support, a different set of drivers fixed it. Once up and running, it has been flawless.
I chose this motherboard because of the upcoming change to Windows 11; my old board was a (still working and >10 years old) Z-97.
I like this motherboard. I replaced a Gigabyte Aorus motherboard that failed with this motherboard. Since this was a build from several years ago and I already had everything including an AMD5600G, 32GM of RAM, case etc. I found it pretty easy to just replace the motherboard. Fired right up and runs Windows 11 with no problems. I'm not a gamer but have two other ASUS TUFX570 motherboard PCs in my house and like their dependability.
Phenomenal Motherboard. Needing a powerhouse for the work that I do, this is one of the best boards I have ever purchased and I have been building my own systems for 25 years!
I had a TUF X570 gaming plus Wi-Fi MB and the NIC died also the Wi-Fi was only 5 so I "upgraded" to the ROG with 2.5 NIC and 6e WI-FI. However, with the B550 chip you don't get two NVME 4x4 M2's just one 4x4 and the other 3x4. I thought that would actually be a downgrade, to my surprise it is not the drives are actually cashed with ASUS software and faster than the two 4x4 in the X570 board. I am happy with the upgrade
