Awesome board loving it.. Quality at its best. Great speeds perfect # of USB ports along with HDMI port. Sound is amazing. Love the USB bios port on back of board to update system without even turning computer on !

Video issue when turning on device from time to time, you have to remove the HDMI port from your video card. Turn it on plug it back in at a certain time and then hit F2 to get into set up just to turn it on. what kind of crap is that?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do understand the inconvenience this may have caused if you are getting an intermittent video issue when turning on your PC. This problem is often caused by a communication handshake failure between the GPU, HDMI cable, and monitor, or an unstable BIOS "Fast Boot" setting. To resolve this, try to load optimize default and disable Fast Boot in the BIOS setuo page, ensure your using a compatible and working video cable and your monitor is working properly. Try to update the chipset, graphics driver, Windows and the BIOS if outdated. Updates for the motherboard are posted at the Product Support page: https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wifi-ii-model/helpdesk_download/ .

Recently update my 4790k. Paired ROG STRIX B550-F with 5800x and has been stable and have had a huge jump in performance. Perfect match to my Fractal design case from 10+ years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would totally recommend buying this motherboard if you want excellent quality and for cheap, which is crazy because I would expect a cheap motherboard to be built with bad quality, but this one is different! It only has DDR4 so if you want one with DDR5, you have to get the DDR5 version but I am happy where I am with DDR4. So if you are reading this I would definitely buy it because it comes with stickers, WiFi, ASUS WebStorage, and it’s own member card and half off of WebStorage and it comes with crazy deals for WebStorage subscription prices for yearly or monthly. So I would definitely recommend buying it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the wifi never worked out of the box on the motherboard and i didn't notice one of the wifi antanna connections was loose, and probably broken off the board on the inside which is why it doesn't work. The nvme solid state drive, wont even notice its there, its fully plugged in but it doesn't see it at all, otherwise everything else works.
