I had a TUF X570 gaming plus Wi-Fi MB and the NIC died also the Wi-Fi was only 5 so I "upgraded" to the ROG with 2.5 NIC and 6e WI-FI. However, with the B550 chip you don't get two NVME 4x4 M2's just one 4x4 and the other 3x4. I thought that would actually be a downgrade, to my surprise it is not the drives are actually cashed with ASUS software and faster than the two 4x4 in the X570 board. I am happy with the upgrade

Installation was quite simple, as I have done several of these in the past. The only problem was the lack of networking (Wi-Fi and LAN). The provided drivers on the web site did not correct this problem, but after communicating with Support, a different set of drivers fixed it. Once up and running, it has been flawless.
I chose this motherboard because of the upcoming change to Windows 11; my old board was a (still working and >10 years old) Z-97.
