Great sewing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sewing machine is very nice and sturdy .All you need is thread , bobbin and a nice sturdy table to put the machine on and go to creating your masterpiece craft .Definitely would recommend to even a beginner . So easy to use and follow directions.

Perfect for a beginner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started making leather accessories during the pandemic. I recently started making leather sanitizer holders. After glueing the ends together didn't work, I started sewing them by hand. I decided to get a sewing machine to make the sewing, easier and faster. I am in the beginning stages of using this machine, but so far it has been relatively easy to use. Being a bit old school, I wish the machine came with a paper manual. However, the online manual has been easy to use. The pictures accompanying the instructions are also very helpful for beginners like me. Having no prior sewing machine experience, it took me about 30 minutes to wind the bobbin, thread the needle and make a basic stitch. The Singer website also has a ton of useful videos and tutorials that I have been watching, to learn how to sew. Overall I am very glad that I got this sewing machine. I think that over time, with all the resources and accessories that Singer offers, this will be a great addition to my home business.

I love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was minimal. Which is a great thing! Very easy to thread, very easy to use. I have tried a variety of stitches, and they run very smoothly! I feel like the projects I can do with this machine are endless! The sewing machine I had before was difficult to use, so I had some trepidation. Apparently it was The machine and not the operator! I highly, highly recommend this for a beginner or experienced person! It may seem expensive, but you get what you pay for and a lot of situations. If you buy cheap, you’ll end up having to spend more to replace it. My last machine was cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beginner friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a sewing machine. I've always sewn by hand in the past. Honestly, the thought of trying to thread the machine seemed really complicated but I looked up a YouTube video on how to do it and it's honestly pretty easy. Everything you need is right there at your fingertips. Just be sure to keep those fingertips away from the needle screw. It got my thumb twice. OUCH! lol I'll never go back to hand sewing. This is so much quicker and easier.

Pleased so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no complaints at this moment. It works great and from watching videos I think I have the hang of it. It is a little different than my previous machine and at first found it intimidating nut overall it does a great job. I don't have any super heavy projects planned at the moment but am hopeful it comes through for me when I do! I can't wait to put it through the test!

Built to Last

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really tough little machine. It is a great option for beginners as I noticed that the dial like this one has is much easier and less intimidating as the ones with all the bells and whistles, for beginners that is.. plus this machine would easily last decades. This Singer is set up and easy to use, it reminds me of the one my aunt had when I was a little girl. She would have me make just any little things for practice. I made pot holders out of practically any scrap materials she gave me. It was really fun and and I have those happy memories. I have even persuaded my 13 yr old to take a break from electronics/social media and to get a little creative. Hesitant at first, but now she's really enjoying it. We have made pillow covers, a pair of boxer/sleep shorts, she is even making little stocking tree ornaments for her tree in her room. I'm not one who needs a commercial size machine for a business, and this heavy duty machine does everything I need plus more..it's making great memories for my daughter to have and look back on, as I do with my Aunt.

Great for non-pro

Lots of bells and whistles came with it which is so nice to not have buy separately. I am very happy with my sewing machine and have started a list of projects I want to use it for.
