The PC arrived with a minor screen issue, a small peeling spot that's visible but doesn't currently affect functionality. However, I'm unsure if it might worsen over time, so I decided to let it go for now. Later, I noticed a speaker issue. I suspected it might be driver-related, so I reinstalled the audio drivers, but the problem persisted. The glitch is brief, like a millisecond hiccup, similar to the sound of an old record skipping. I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but nothing has resolved it. If the issue continues or worsens, I plan to use the warranty.
Coming from an 8 year old 17-inch Envy, Processing capabilities are awesome. Very fast and efficient. Love the OLED screen and sky blue color. Intel Ultra 7 is a big upgrade from my previous Envy.
I have thought for many years that all PC Manufacturers should make it easier for all of their customers to understand & execute (or ai now to automatically execute) all necessary steps to keep their personal data Safe & their PC's running smooth as new for however long they have them. Most do not understand about all of settings, virus protections, etc. Maybe some sort of Simple Checklist / Program to be opened upon New Purchase - ?
I replaced my 8 year old HP laptop with this new HP & I'm extremely happy with how quick & smooth everything works. HP makes it easy to shop & get everything you want.
Lightning fast start up and processing. The OLED screen is so crystal clear and the backlit keyboard with numeric pad is perfect. $20 upgrade for blue case was so worth it.
