Great speakers but need subwoofer.

I'll keep this short. These are amazing speakers for highs and mids but lack bass.
I needed to get a separate subwoofer and good soundcard to really get the sound these speakers are capable of making.

They are great for Music ,, but I am 57 years old and want them for instructional videos they suck for just plain dialogue ,,people speaking,, just terrible,, but for Music they are awesome ,, contemplating on taking them back for something that is more for clear voice . Even watched movies and could barely make out the words they were speaking I have a small $20 mini speaker has great dialogue but many how to video's you can barely here them .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not an audiophile just a guy who likes to listen to his old records and I am thoroughly enjoying my records with a set of speakers that sound great and for a very reasonable price

Amazing for a simple yet effective system

After having my 5.1 Logitech sub finally blow, I did some research for the best replacement speaker in the top ten bracket for the price range. After many online reviews, I decided, that since most online broadcasts are not in 5.1, that getting another 5.1 system would be just a waste. Setup was easy, getting the right sound settings depending on your music taste was also very easy. Sound wise without a sub, don't expect booming base at the low end of the spectrum. The Mids and highs are crystal clear. Price Point wise you can't go wrong, these speakers do the task and look great.

Can’t say a bad thing about these speakers. Very easy hooking them up to my turntable. Great sound quality and volume for the size of this pair.

The bass is very good, but the mid-range and treble are severely lacking, even with the treble adjuster. Could be my laptop, I don't know.
