I had high hopes/ expectations for this product but it didn't deliver as well as the reviews stated.
I love the sleek design and the baffle filters are an easier clean than the traditional one. The LED lights give a powerful brightness to the cooking area.
However the sound when the fan is on is quite loud. Even in the lowest setting it is still hard to hear over it. I was pretty disappointed in that considering the reviews claimed that is would practically be silent.
Also the fan suction is good, but it also splatters oil back on to the counter tops. I'm not sure how but it's very visibly coming back down.
Overa, the price is pretty good for the product of such stature but may want to take the over hype into consideration.

If you are upgrading from an OTR microwave with a vent fan, this is a huge step up. I frequently set off the smoke alarms whenever I would sear on the stovetop. No more! It's clear this thing is moving a great deal of air out of the kitchen, but at a certain point, some smoke is going to escape the hood's pulling power, especially if you are searing on front burners. This unit just doesn't extend out far enough to cover the full area of the range and some smoke will escape in the kitchen. But for the money, a nice little hood that does way better than your garbage micro vent.
Installation was a challenge, even with the right tools. Make sure you have them if you are going to DIY. Cabinet jacks, a 12-inch (no less!) impact bit extension, and magnetic philips head bit are required for this install. Also, our ducting had a rectangular adapter at the end of it that tapered out to the circular duct that exited the kitchen to roof. As per the instructions, we used the rectangular adapter with the aluminum flap that came with the unit. The problem we encountered was that the adapter on our ducting didn't provide adequate clearance, so the flap was opening only about a half inch, which greatly impeded performance. It took a while to figure this out though because we had to open up the unit from below after it was installed to see what was going on. Our solution was to remove the flap (Hauslane said this was okay because our roof chimney pipe has a cover.) After that it worked much better. If your pipe isn't covered and you have a rectangular adapter like ours, you may want to switch to a round one and use the round flap in the kit that comes with the unit.
Finally, it would have been much better if the cord for the unit could come up through the same cut for the chimney pipe.

Looks so good in my kitchen and goes well with the Bosch stainless steel appliances.
Do not like that the colon on the clock cannot stop blinking.

This range good was easy to install and improved out cooking experience immensely. Its controls are very well designed and it's lights are powerful with nice color. Ventilation is efficient and powerful while also quiet. Installing was relatively easy between myself and my wife (tip: we hung the unit with wire at first in order to have an easier time driving the screws). Overall great product at a great price. Highly recommend.

We love it! Our old hood was not working well and just cooking on stove would set off the smoke alarms. Now I can cook and not worry about the alarms going off .

Good but noisy at speed 3 and beyond.

Fan noise at speed level 1-2 is acceptable but at 3 and beyond it is highly noisy. Looking at 'Sones' numbers etc hardly tell you how it would sound to your ears until you turn this unit on. I am sure there are better vent hoods with better suction but lower noise. You may have to pay more, though. Over all it looks sleek and well designed. This unit is lacking on noise level.
