Good quality product!

It’s been about a month since I started using my new Hauslane range, and I’m very happy with it. The product performs as expected and works exactly as intended. Because I have an open-concept kitchen, good ventilation is very important to me, especially when cooking and when I need to clear food odors coming from my neighbor’s unit. So far, the ventilation performance has been great. I do use it at the highest power at all times. The only minor issue is that it’s not as fingerprint-resistant as I expected. It’s not a major problem, but I can definitely notice a difference compared with my other appliances. Overall, though, I’m very happy with the product and would recommend it.

Much better than an Over the Range Microwave Fan

I’m really happy with the Hauslane range hood. Compared with relying on the fan built into an over-the-range microwave, the difference is noticeable. The Hauslane hood has much stronger ventilation and does a better job of removing cooking odors, smoke, steam, and grease from the kitchen.
I also like having a dedicated range hood because the hood looks sleek, operates efficiently, and makes cooking more comfortable, especially when searing, frying, or preparing foods with strong aromas.
Overall, upgrading from an integrated microwave fan to a dedicated Hauslane hood was a great decision. It feels like a more professional kitchen setup, and the improved ventilation is something I appreciate every time I cook. Highly recommended for anyone considering the upgrade!

A workhorse 36" under cabinet range hood!

Bought this 36" under cabinet range hood in spring 2026. Love that it has two heavy duty motors, two changeable GU10 LED light bulbs, a clock, and 6 speed settings. The controls are easy to use. We purchased it because it is stainless steel, looks great and contemporary, and the price was better compared to other brands for the same or similar features. It comes with a lifetime warranty on the motors. A real workhorse!

Worth the extra $

We have tried stir frying and deep frying on our high btu burner gas range with the UC-PS18 range hood and we didn't smoke out the house or set the fire alarm off with our previous range hood. We don't have that problem anymore. I don't see the smoke and smell the strong odor. This is not your basic range hood. I've had a few regular vented range hoods and I'm happy I spent the difference and got this range hood.

Installation was straightforward, and the controls are simple and intuitive to use day to day. The build quality feels solid, and it looks great under the cabinet clean, modern design that fits well in the kitchen. Overall, this has been a great addition to my kitchen setup. Bought this about 3 years ago. Has been working great until a problem with a noisy fan. Hauslane sent me replacement parts for free even though it was past the warrantee
