Really happy with this fan. Looks nice, modern, controls easy to use, very quiet on low speed, not too loud on high speed. This fan really does suck, in a good way.
Two items I like to see improved: (1) move where the power cord comes out. It is exactly where typical cabinet dowels are; (2) have more mounting slots so that you can use the ones that best suit the cabinet.

I recently purchased the PS18 range hood and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The powerful suction of this range hood has made a noticeable difference in the freshness of my kitchen.
One of the things I love most about the PS18 is how quiet it is while in use. I've had other range hoods in the past that were so loud that I couldn't hold a conversation while cooking, but that's not a problem with the PS18. It's also easy to clean, which is a huge plus.
Overall, I'm very happy with the PS18 range hood and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a new range hood for their kitchen. The powerful suction and quiet operation make it an excellent choice.

It's like opening a big iPhone box. Components were wrapped with white cling to protect chrome parts. Not a spec of dust inside the range hood. Really beautiful and easy to install. Very versatile ducting options. Kind of heavy but that's a good thing, built like a tank. Very strong suction, not as loud as people say it is. I would recommend this to anybody looking to replace their current range hood.

This Hauslane range hood is a beautiful and functional addition to our kitchen. The stainless steel finish complements our stove/range which is stainless steel with some black accents. I appreciate the LED lights--which provide plenty of illumination for cooking, and the exhaust which is quite effective at removing cooking odors and fumes.
Service from Hauslane has been friendly and efficient. When the first range hood arrived damaged I called Hauslane and, after sending them pictures of the damage they arranged that day for a replacement. The replacement unit arrived in perfect condition within a few days and my wife and I were able to complete installation in time to prepare our family's Thanksgiving meal.
I have only two criticisms: 1) the fan--even on the lowest setting--is still quite loud; 2) there were no instructions on how to re-route the electrical through the rear instead of top and direct wire the unit. We were able to do it because I already have knowledge in this area and a father-in-law with 40 years of HVAC experience but it would have been nice to have some printed instructions.
Overall, we are very pleased with the look and operation of this range hood and we expect to get many years of service from it.
